QUALITY ENGLISH STERLING SILVER SWING HANDLED FLUTED SUGAR / BON BON BOWL 1904:

A superb quality Edwardian large sterlingsilver sugar bowl. The bowl and swing handle are both hallmarked for Birmingham 1904with the maker’s marks being BB for Barker Brothers. It has been superbly designed having a fluted bowlwith arched swing handle. It is in super condition being free from dingssplits holes and repairs just a few very faint marks to the base. The hinges are strong and able to hold the handle inthe upright position. It is a decent usable size measuring almost 5 inches (12.5cms) long by 4 inches (10.2cms) wide by approx. 4.25 inches (11cms) tall to the top of the handle and weighs 124grams. A beautifully designed more unusual Edwardian piece.
