Quorum Lighting pendant light. Model 3376-76. Metal leaves decorate the lower section. There is approximately 7\' of chain between the upper and lower section. The lower section is approximately 18\" tall. The globe is 6\" wide at the bottom. This is a display model so the chain shows some slight wear at the top hook. The top and bottom hooks are carabiner style making it very essy to adjust the chain length.
The antique Florentine finish on the cast multi-tiered center columns of the chandeliers, rosette medallions, and trefoils suggest a 17th century Italian influence for our stately Valente family. In this period of the Baroque, metalwork, especially in ornamental iron, achieved a level of sophistication that gave a flamboyant signature to a unique era in architecture and furnishings. Globes and lamps are Indian Scavo glass and shades are Almond Empire.
