Hello. We purchased this R. John Wright doll in 2005 from the Toy Shoppe of Virginia.
Marcella holding Raggedy Ann is a limited edition of 250 dolls, and this one is serial number 10. The original Certificate of Authenticity is included and shown in a photo above.
Marcella is one gorgeous looking doll, with all the details you expect in a RJW doll. Marcella is 17\" tall, fully jointed and made of all wool felt with a mohair wig and hand-painted facial features. She is outfitted in cotton gauze dress with feltappliqué pattern, and straw hat with felt flowers and fruit. She has cream cotton stockings and leather slippers. She holds an all-felt 6\" Raggedy Ann doll.
We have had Marcella on display for maybe one week since purchase. She has rested in her original box in our smoke free, air conditioned home. She is in great, excellent condition as shown in the photos.
