This Rare 1st edition copy of MODERN BUSINESS PENMANSHIP was written by Edward C. Mills and published by American Book Company of New York in 1903. Its 8 1/4 by 3 3/4 inches, the pages were not numbered by the publisher but its previous owner took the liberty of pencil numbering each page which came to 76. The brownish red cloth cover has dark ink stain spots on the front and a couple of smaller spots on the back, the head and heel and corner tips are gently rubbed, the gutter is cracked at the 1st page of instruction as I show in my photos, its previous owner made penciled notations on the inside front cover and 1st endpaper, there is a dime size dried ink stain on page 36-37 that also shows up on several of the pages on each side of it, there are a few other smaller stains on other pages, and the pages are discolored from it now being over 100 years old, but otherwise its a great example of the fine art of penmanship that seems to be struggling to stay alive these days. Your item will be mailed to you through USPS usually within 3-5 business days once your cleared payment has been received, sometimes sooner depending on my schedule that week. I charge a minimum handling fee on all my items and I add the cost of insurance in my handling fee for any item selling for more than $30.00 or that is considered Fragile. Once I have shipped your item off I will notify you with an email after I get back from town that your item is on its way and provide you with the tracking #, and I will leave response for you at this time.
