Rare 1976 Allied Leisure Clay Champ Coin-op Rifle Game For Sale
arnoldchase Store
This is a shooting game you certainly don't see every day! Made in October of 1976, this Allied Leisure Clay Champ Commercial Arcade Game was the second to last game made by this company. This game was made when video games were already in widespread use, and the design is a hybrid mix of solid state logic, scoring, and sound with Electro-Mechanical elements. It was licensed by Namco, LTD of Tokyo, Japan. I always liked the play value of the games made by Allied, even though their cabinets and artwork was always a notch cruder than the "big four". This game is no different, with plenty of action and a wide range of difficulty levels. Each shooter gets two chances to hit each flight of the clay disks, just like you would with an "over-under" shotgun.
This game is in both great physical condition, as well as perfect operational condition. There are few flaws with the cabinets: There are a few narrow cracks in the Formica-like material (which do not go all the way through) on the front door and left side. there are cracks and missing chunks with the white plastic cabinet trim, there are areas of rust by the guns, and there are some small gouges in the cabinet in various areas. Inside, there are a few small spots in the blue background. Having said all that, this game is in far better condition than most that are it's age.
While the machine is being represented as properly working (and I will operate it for you or take a video if you have it shipped if you'd like), it is over 40 years old so this game is being sold in "as-is" condition.
The game can be picked up from Hartford, CT at no charge, or I can assist you with shipment via Precision Transportation (NAVL) (who do a fine job with a "blanket wrap" door to door service), or the shipper of your choice. Shipping arrangements must be made by the purchaser, but I will be happy to assist you with coordinating the pickup, etc.
This game can also be delivered within 250 miles of Hartford, CT for about $200 by a local delivery service that handles a lot of arcade games.
