This is by far one of the best Sumida Gawa vases I have ever seen. One side is two samurai banging on a Taiso drum while the other side is the samurai speaking with or bowing to the wind god. The work is extensive and spectacular. There is a firing line as you can clearly see on both sides. It has not moved and is stable. Measures 19 inches talland 9 across horizontally.
