RARE 36" Antique Alfredo Zellini Norina Papier Mache Composition Doll Italy 1930
For sale is a WONDERFUL Alfredo Zellini doll from the 1930s. The original owner wrote down she though she was from the 1920\'s. Although I think this doll was first produced in the 1930\'s. She is a one owner doll, and was never played with (the owners mom would never allow it). She was given to a very prestigious family by a traveling diplomat in the first part of the 20th century. I will reveal any history to the winning buyer. She walks, talks, stands, rolls he eyes, turns her head, She is marked on the front torso and her hat is labeled as well. She is ALL ORIGINAL with her original box and original packing materials. Rare original Instruction booklet included. She is VERY large (36\") and comes with: Hat, Pinafore, Two Silk Dresses ( \"made in Italy\"), Apron, Slip, Collar, Bloomers, Leather Shoes, Socks, Wig (gorgeous brunette locks of real hair). Orig. Box / Shipping Crate. Her apron and her dress have cute little felt rose buds and the top of the dress has a floral pattern in velvet. Her eyes are the most lovely blue color, too! I could not find a lot of information on this maker, but looks like everything is hand done and of a very high quality. I have not been able to find another one that compares with her. The walking mechanism seems to be working just fine. All original clothing (Two outfits) and in original shipping box.
She is stunning, real human hair wig, beautiful blue glass sleep eyes, beautiful face paint. She has an Alfredo Zellini blue stamp on her belly. Walking mechanism is still functional and her head moves when she walks.
Stamp marked on belly by maker Alfredo Zellini. She is composition constructed & jointed at neck, shoulders & hips. All joints hold positions pretty well. Head turns when you move her legs back & forth. She has flirty eyes that move from side to side. She\'s still in amazing overall condition; I\'d say Facial features paint looks near minty. Wig is in good condition, mussed- may be human hair? Eyes are vibrant. Lips are bright. She\'s wearing original garments with dress tagged Made in Italy. This Italian beauty will make a fantastic addition to your collection. GREAT GIFT IDEA!!! Please ask questions before offerding/buying if I forgot to mention anything!
