RARE ANGLO INDIAN STERLING SILVER FREEMANSON\'S BEAKER TYG 101g:

A very interesting andunusual silver freemason’s presentation cup. It is hallmarked SILVER. It hasbeen nicely designed having an embossed scroll border with three loop handlesand is supported on three clawed legs. It has been engraved (No.67 E.C. STAR INTHE EAST) along with (WOR.BRO.W.J.M.LEITH W.M. 1972). Although engraved in 1972 I suspect it is actually older c1890-1910. Star in the East No 67E.c. is the oldest Lodge in India today meetingin Kolkata and was warranted in 1740. It is in superb condition beingfree from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures almost 3inches (7.5cms) tall by over 2.5 inches(6.7cms) across the rim excluding the handles and weighs 101 grams. A veryunusual rare example.
