Its great antique Russian prayer book. This prayer was made in 2nd half of 19th century. Book has a wooden cover that is covered with leather. Inside there is around 130 pages, and has original lock. Condition of book some pages have some damage and wear and tear. Most of the pages are in good condition. All writings inside were made by hand in church-Slavic (Church-Slavonic) language. Writing in book is in black and red. Inside there is different religious subjects. Subjects include repentance, canons, Easter, religious times of the year, and other subjects. Some of the pages have a writing of date of birth and or date of death of people that this book had belonged to (sample see picture). Writing this of book consisted of special writers, and it took them several weeks to write this type of book. Some of the pages on the left top corner there is mark of the manufacturer where the paper for this book was made. The factory were the paper for this book was made in is \" PASKEVICH FACTORY #5.\" This factory Fedor Ivanovich Paskevich that began work in Russia in year 1870. This book has original lock that opens and closes the book see picture. Size of book 7 1/2 inches X 4 1/2 inches. Also height 2 1/4 inches. This prayer book was written by hand is not only a book but a part of Russian Imperial history.
