For sale, we have this extremely high quality antique Cairoware tray. The tray which dates from early - mid 1900\'s is made from brass. It has been inlaid with silver and copper, with a beautiful scene of Noah and his ark along with animals in pairs.

This extremely rare tray has a beautiful unusual oval shape. As well as the scene with Noah and his ark, there is a breathtaking landscape scene of the old Jerusalem city.

There is also some Hebrew script inlaid with silver. I cannot read what it says, so if anyone can help, I would love to hear from you.

The edges of the tray have been completed with silver and copper inlay in the form of beautiful scrolling floral vines.

This is one of the rarest and best silver inlay pieces you will come across. Very high quality and with a important subject and beautiful scenes.

The height of the tray is 70cm = 27.6 inches.

The width of the tray is 49.5cm = 19.5 inches.

The tray weighs 3.7KG

The tray is in very good overall condition.
