A Very Rare Georgian Carved/Pressed Bovine Buffalo Horn Gentleman\'s Cane Handle c1810-1820.
Depicting the famous \"Doctor Syntax\". Created by William Combe in 1809 andpublished in 1812 by the Caricaturist Thomas Rowlandson.
The detail is superb showing Syntax\'s famous caricature features of a hooked nose and pointed chinwith ill fitting balding wig.
In Fine Condition for its early age.
