We are pleased to offer this extremely fine example of this rare Ohio no.96 1/2 plane.It is from the personal collection (estate) of a long time antique tool collector.It is marked \"Ohio Tool Co.\" and 96 1/2 on the end.
See pics for detail, but as you can see this plane is in extremely well preserved condition, and even the screws only have a few small nicks in the them.As shown in pics- The hardware is all original, and does show some minor rust on screw heads (not replaced or restored).With the exception of normal tool maintenance, this has not been artificially restored in any way- It was just preserved very well.Thank you for visiting, offerding and/or buying, and feel free to check out our other sales.
