THIS AWESOME BUTTON CAME IN A FRENCH ESTATE AND WAS LISTED AS DATING TO THE 1851-1860 PERIOD-IT HAS A PIERCED GILT BRASS RIM, BACK AND GILT COPPER LOOP SHANK AND IT FEATURES A WONDERFUL DRIED WHEAT-LIKE GRASS COVERED BY A PAPER THIN CELLULOID VELLUM OVER TOP-THE CELLULOID SHEET HAS BEEN INCISED WITH A WHEAT DESIGN AS WELL AND ACCENTED WITH GOLD METALLIC/POLYCHROME ENAMEL IN THE FINE LINES-THIS VERY LOVELY AND QUITE RARE HABITAT STYLE BUTTON MEASURES 1 3/8\" IN DIAMETER AND APPEARS TO BE IN REALLY GOOD CONDITION AS EVERYTHING SEEMS TO HAVE REMAINED IN TACT...MIRACULOUSLY-I WILL LEAVE THE CLEANING TO YOU-THIS IS THE LAST BUTTON LIKE IT THAT I HAVE FOR SALE---
