..... Here we have a very rare silver plated corn on the cob server ... stamped on the bottom as shown in photos 4 & 9 , \" The Bustanoby Corn Server ... Pat. JUNE 2 , 1908 ... Lot # 235 \" ... it is silver plated over heavy tin with a footed base ... the corn trough is 8 inches long by 2 1/4 inches wide ... it stands 2 3/4 inches tall ... it has an oval shape to it so you can have melted butter lay in it and you can turn the corn on the cobb in the butter ... there are half moon cutouts at either end as well .... found at an estate sale in Lancaster County , Pennsylvania ... simply a great piece for anyone\'s collection ...
