Up for sale is a nice, rare antique silver plate over brass clarinet.
\"SUPERTONE\" is etched on the bell.
It\'s in good/nice cosmetic condition.The silver plate finish shines and it has no dents.
I polished the easy-to-reach places and will leave the rest to the buyer.
I play enough to test a clarinet and it plays a few notes. The pads have wear. The top long key on the side is broken (SEE photos; it can be soldered).
It does not include thematching barrel/neck that connects the mouthpiece to the clarinet. I played/tested it with one of mine. It comes with no mouthpiece. Any regular clarinet mouthpiece will work (they are often for sale on ). ***I took all of the preceding description into consideration in determining my price, which is very low for a nice antique silver plate metal clarinet.***The cork at top of the the clarinet where a barrel attaches has some wear; it seals okay.
It comes in the original hard carrying case. The exterior fabric and theinterior fabric have some wear. The leather handle has wear and the latches work.
Don\'t let this gem get away. It\'s a perfect gift for a band student, musician or collector.It\'s a nice restoration piece or can be used for parts, or it displays well as a nice antique collectable as-is. These make unique musical instrument themed wall hangers and cool table lamps too.
