Up for offers is thisRARE Antique Early 19thC English Mason\'s Ironstone Imari Style Dragon Platter. The edge of this platter is impressed MASON\'S PATENT IRONSTONE CHINA. This mark was used by Mason\'s between 1813 and 1820. I have never seen a piece in this pattern but it is similar to Gaudy Welsh and Imari. The dragon seems to have more of a Chinese influence and the center has a large 5 toed dragon that is flying in clouds which are painted in tones of blue and orange. The platter has a molded rim with flowers. The platter measures 19 5/8\" in length, 16 1/2\" in width, and stands 1 3/8\" in height. This piece is in great condition with only one tiny flea bite that occurred in the factory and is glazed over. There is some slight wear to the paint in a few spots.
