Rare antique German paper mache Easter egg. Features rabbits drinking wine and smoking, rabbits pulling carts. On the inside of egg it is marked in pencil 29 years old on March 27th 1932 . March 27th was Easter Sunday in 1932. I am unsure if this egg is from 1932 or if the egg was 29 years old in 1932 which would date it to 1903. It was my great grandmother\'s so 1903 would make sense if she got it as a child and she lived in Germany but I cannot be 100% sure. I found it in a box in the attic. It measures approximately 6 inches tall. Inside of egg has golden fleur de lis. Lace trim. One side of inside of egg has stain (see photo).
