Presented for your consideration is this neat salesman sample size ladder. The sample was made to look like the full size version of the ladder. It is made of wood with metal hardware. It has two pieces, one that acts as a base and the other slides up and down to extend the latter, much like an old full size roofing ladder would. Sliding piece easily moves and the metal wire bracket near the top easily moves to hold the sliding ladder in place. No markings to indicate who produced this sample. These types of samples were used by salesman to go door to door trying to sell the full size version of the item. This neat, hard to find salesman sample ladder would make a great addition to any collection!
Top rung of the base ladder is broken in half and the metal piece has come loose from the bottom edge of the sliding ladder. Minimal wear. Overall in VERY GOOD condition.
Measures 15\" tall, 4 1/4\" wide at the widest point and 7/8\" wide.
