Rare Art Deco desk clock by Concord Watch Co. and retailed by Black Starr Frost & Gorham. Coming directly from the estate of a wealthy local NYC investment banker who worked on Wall Street in the 1930s. This clock is similar to many made for Tiffany & Co. by Concord.

The base has the look of green jade, however I do not know the material. It is cold to the touch, but could be a synthetic stone. Please email if you have specific questions about this material. It is translucent when held to the light.

I wound the clock and it worked for several days, but now it does not seem to be working. It probably needs to be serviced from years of no use. The hands turn with no problem.

It is marked \"8 Days\" and \"Swiss\" \"Concord Watch Co.\" is stamped on the back.

Condition: General wear from use. Light scuffs and small chips along the base. Oxidation to the bronze around the edge. Losses to the small dots on the face. General oxidation to the metal on the back side.
