Danner Revolving Bookcase
circa 1880\'s in gorgeous
SOLID MAHOGANY!!
Needless to say, Danner made very few of these Mahogany pieces...most were oak and some walnut.
The rich dark mahogany changes to a glowing hue in the direct sunlight as you will see in the photos!
Overall dimensions are 23 1/2\" square and 48\" high. The top two levels have sections measuring 10\"- high, 13 1/2\" and7 3/4\"- deep. The bottom level sections measure 12\"- high (for larger volumes or collectable), 13 1/2\" wide and 7 3/4\"- deep.
This bookcase is clearly signed with
the Danner stencil on the upper post!
The condition is super with a few minor \"scars of time\" that add charm and authenticity to the piece.
The steel and mahogany base allows the bookcase to spin with the push of a finger. The casters are vintage heavy duty steel added for easy moving a heavy full bookcase around.
***This bookcase is also very useful for holding HUNDREDS of CD\'s and DVD\'s and your prized collectables!
