RARE Bound volume of song sheets 1855-1859, about 50 songs, Stephen Foster:

This is a bound volume of individual song sheets, not a song book. It measures 13 x 10 1/2. The cover is in fine condition, the pages good. There is spotting on the pages and occasional small tears or chips. My guess is someone bound a pile of song sheets well after they were published. There is a Stephen Foster song included along with some songs used in the civil war such as Lorena. In fact these would have been the songs the soldiers in the civil war would have known. The songs date from 1855 to 1859 and there are about 50.
