An iconic Gerald Thurston design for Lightolier (hallmarked inside of shade). The cricket lamp has an adjustable shade and can be hung on a wall as well. The shade is ivory and appears to be 100% original and in excellent vintage condition displaying minor wear on the exterior and a few chips and fleabites on the inside. The metal Stand has some oxidation and wear - note that outside shade twist finials do not match (see pics). The lamp appears as original wiring and the diffuser is also original showing wear from the heat of previous lamp bulb - all clamps for the diffuser are in place (these are often missing). Our plastic supplier recommends using a LED or CFL bulb to reduce the heat. The original diffusers on these are usually scorched or deformed over time from the heat of the incandescent bulb.
