RARE EARLY 1800‘s HALEY LONDON VERGE FUSEE SILVER BULLSEYE CRYSTAL POCKET WATCH:
$159.00

Here is an early 1800’s Charles Haley London English verge fusee pocket watch in a silver case and with a very nice “Bullseye” crystal. Charles Haley was a famous London watchmaker (died 1823), inventor of a constant force escapement for chronometers and produced many fine watches with various escapements. This is one of his later movements. It looks very elaborate and high grade. It does not run - when wound - it merely unwinds immediately. The fusee chain is still present on the barrel. The watch is 50mm in diameter. The bullseye crystal shows only light scratch wear and no damage - it is slightly loose in the front cover. The case appears silver but has not been hallmarked. The watch has a Tobias dial which is not correct or original to the watch. Rare early 1800’s verge fusee pocket watch. Shipping within the US only and is fixed at $11 (priority boxed including tracking and insurance) - I only ship to confirmed shipping addresses in the US and to US-based buyers only. I combine shipping.
