DescriptionBeautiful Early 18th Century Chinese Export IMARI Pattern Plate.
Lavishly gilded and decorated in a mix of underglaze blue and overglaze red.
Black and green enamels have also been used in the detail of the \'Dragon Phoenix\' border.
The centre is decorated in traditional style with Lone Butterfly and Peonies Amongst Rocky Crags.
The Back of the Plate is also decorated with Prunus Blossom around the rim.
Finely hand painted and dating to the Qing Dynasty c1700-1720.
Measuring 26cm in diameter.
Condition
Perfect condition with no damage or repair.
Some rubbing to the gilding as to be expected with age.
Displays Very well and would make a great addition to someones collection.
