The Buttercups - If I Love You/ Loving You, Pama PM742 1968. Rare and seemingly very underrated 45 on Pama which is classed as ska but I personally think it sounds like great girl group mod beat. The a-side is my preferred side with a good raucous beat/ hammond organ section at the end and the b-side a more poppy 60s girl sound with beat and mod elements. The labels are sadly pretty damaged, which I initially thought was deliberate to obscure the identity of the record, and the vinyl is scuffed in a few places yet plays great with just a light crackle at the start of each side. Happy to combine postage at cost, usually at no extra expense in the UK.
