This is an absolutely stunning piece of Heywood Wakefield furniture! It came out of an estate. It has 2 sliding drawers and a light that works. It is made of rock walnut, cinnamon color, and is incredibly solid and heavy. This piece is very well made, high quality, and will last a lifetime. It has been very well cared for. The drawers slide nicely. The headboard measures approximately 58\" long. It is 54\" wide from sideboard to sideboard, 48\" across the pink slats x 40\" tall from floor to top of headboard. From the floor to highest point of the footboard are 26\" tall. The piece is in very good to excellent condition for its age. A few minor flaws which can only be seen on close inspection. There is a whole in the back that appears to have been made to plug something in. I\'m not exactly sure how the slats work to put the mattress on. We attached them as found. This is a rare find!We purchased the dresser with mirror and tall dresser as well if you are looking for the whole set.Due to the weight, we can only offer local pickup.
