Thank you for considering this rare HTF Stieff Rose repousse hand chased sterling silver military style hair brush and some might use it for clothing, however they were intended for grooming men’s hair originally. It is marked Stieff sterling, has the date code for 1914 and the legendaryquality that Stieff was known for as Maryland\'s premier silver maker for generations. There is a monogram as shown, but I can’t really tell what the letters are, so just say it‘s yours LOL!. It measures about 4.5” X 3” X a little under 2” tall. The natural bristles look original and there is some wear to them, particularly to the middle, however this does not show if you display it bristles down- pls refer to photos. It has a couple little dings along the side as one would expect for something over 100 years old, but it is in nice shape overall and displays well. Don’t let this one get away as they are very hard to find!!!
