I am absolutely thrilled to be offering this exceptional MASTERPIECE Necklace by Christian Dior, dated 1967. If you are a collector or admirer of the dated Dior pieces, then you know this design is RARELY seen for sale. To my knowledge, this necklace was made in two color combinations, this one that I am offering here with shades of blues and greens, and another that mixes pink beads in the design as well. I have not seen either version for sale since I sold mine a year and a half ago, and can't remember when I saw one before that.

Characteristically, DIOR jewelry has been known to use a variety of floral motifs due largely because of Christian Dior's love of gardens and the French countryside. This necklace consists of strands of vibrant molded lucite flowers, leaves and beads and terminates with a large round gold-plated hidden push-clasp topped with clustered beads. It is fantastically light-weight and airy and undeniably commands an audience.
