Greetings!For your consideration:A Rare Newspaper from 1813 Containing Accounts and Acts from Andrew Jackson, William Henry Harrison, Indian Attacks, the Battle At Matilda and more!A great historical newspaper from the Columbian Register, New Haven, Connecticut; dated November 30, 1813. Loaded with great historical information including battles and victories from the War Of 1812 including a personal account from Andrew Jackson as well as accounts on the Battle At Matilda, an act from William Henry Harrison and several acts from Sylvanus Backus and John Cotton Smith; also contains an advertisement for the release of the book \"George Washington\'s Farewell Addresses\". Several accounts on battles with Indians. What\'s neat about this paper is that it contains both Andrew Jackson and William Henry Harrison, two men who would go on to become the 8th and 9th Presidents of the United States. The paper is in Fair to Good overall condition with noticeable browning from early water staining as well as heavy fraying to the edges. The paper is quite sound however and is printed on heavy ragweed paper which preserves very well; much opposite of the current, brittle, newspaper used today.
