Older than any helmet I have seen on . Must be among the earliest ever used in football and probably should be in the Football Hall of Fame. Original label intact and there are no tears or damage at all to this ancient item. Could be as old as late 1800\'s. I don\'t know. All leather with dog ears and vents completely undamaged but well worn. Heavy wool padding inside and it may have been re sewn a little inside but I can\'t tell for certain. . Should be fun watching the offerding. fairly small to average size head. Email with questions.
