I am selling a family estate and will be listing many fantastic antiques, art and estate items.
This is avery rare pair of19th century czarist era bronze candlesticks.Circa 1850-1880.They arequite heavy and by the famous Russiandesigner Yudin. They are not signed. Size is 8 1/4 \" tall and a bit over3 1/2\" at the base. Below is an example ofsimilar Russian candlesticks from Lower East Side Restoration, a website that sells similar antique Russian candlesticks at $2000. Take a look at their site. Please note that the candlesticks for saleare in the photos above. They are in excellent antique condition with a beautiful patina. There is a blemish on each but it is not damage but occurred during manufacture. There is an ever so slight bend at the top which can be easily fixed but it does not distract in the least. They can also be highly polished but I do not recommend as it affects the antique value.
