GORGEOUS AND RARE RUSSIAN IMPERIAL SILVER TEACADDY BOX WITH LOCK

84 Russian Imperial mark. Famous Russian maker Sazikov.

Assay mark – Riga “T.T” 1857 year. Weight 576 gr.

A rare old and beautiful Russian solid silvertea caddy footed box with the deer miniature on top.

It is full hallmarked for Riga T.T. 1857,with the famous Russian master mark for Sazikov.

It has been beautifully designed being ofcircular form embossed with stylised deer head. The inside has been richlygilded. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes andrepairs. The inside is vibrant and clean, the lid fits tightly. It measuresover 14.5cms tall by 15.5cm across the lid and weighs 576 grams. A beautifullymade high quality piece.

Excellent museum condition, no surfacemarks from general use, no owner signs or monograms. A very desirableearly antique here, you will not find a better one.
