It has just been professionally restored and newly wired. It had previously been converted to electric in the early 20th century. The verdigris patina is absolutely stunning. An intact Rayo hanging parlor lamp is rare and this would be an important addition to any collection.It has an amazing original 43\" diameter hand painted shade in excellent condition. It does not have any cracks, chips or repairs. The design is very beautiful and intricate, consisting of three scenes of a ship with a bird, a deer in the wild, and two children in a garden. The style appears to be from the early Victorian period. Flowers are vividly painted around each scene.

All of the pieces are present and this parlor lamp will be a great addition to any collection.

The fixture measures 30\" from top to bottom, though it does have chain for extending, as shown in photo, I have not attempted to change the length. I have done my best to provide a detailed description and photos, please ask any questions and I will follow up as soon as possible.
