This antique Russian icon was part of a collectors state appraised in 2014 by Bonhams. The collector purchased the icon in the early 60s in the Soviet Union during his travels. There is an inscription on the rear. See photos. The icon measures 13.5\" x 11.75\". It is in excellent condition. The title is \"mother of god calmer of an angry heart.\"
