Up for sale is a Smith and Wesson K-22 Masterpiece Gold Box for the pre-model 17 revolver. These boxes are hard to find as is the revolver itself. The box certainly shows some signs of wear for its age but is in remarkably very good, solid condition. Most of the wear isat the cornerswhich is as expected. I have tried to provide photos showing areas of wear. All marking are clear, sharpand legible. There are no blown out corners and the inside of the box has some staining.
