A stunning pair of early provincialsterling silver berry serving spoons. They are hallmarked with the maker’smarks three times, these being ASI. They test as high-grade silver. I would date them to c1800 most likely Scottish or Irish provincial as they often stamped their marks three times. They have beenbeautifully designed having grape vine embossed bowls and superbly engravedgrape vine handles. The decoration would have been added in the mid Victorian period. They are in super condition being free from dings splits andrepairs. They measure over 8.75 inches (22.5cms) long by over 1.75 inches (4.7cms)wide and have a combined weight of 120 grams. A beautifully rare set.
