This is a scarce unlisted squat soda bottle that we dug from an 1860s outhouse privy pit in St.Louis,MO.....I believe it is a Henry Grone soda bottle

H.G & CO.(bold emb on front)......

Hand blown in mold, bimal.....early smooth base with half circle hinge mold seam base.....applied blob top.....aqua.....6 7/8\"tall....Excellent condition with no chips or damage. A couple small spots of roughness on neck where the wire bail once was. A nice clean bottle with only a couple spots of light haze. I\'ve dug variations of Henry Grone soda bottles with H.GRONE & CO emb in a straight line, but this is the only one with just his initials that I\'ve seen. Although it doesnt have the city emb, I believe since it was dug in St.Louis that it must be a Henry Grone bottle from St.Louis. FREE POSTAGE AS ALWAYS...NO HIDDEN FEES EVER WITH DIGGER DAVE
