Navajo 48 Star Flag Blanket w/ Row of Peace Doves

Museum Quality - From The Medicine Man\'s Private Collection

DESCRIPTION: I doubt you will ever find or see another Navajo 48 Star American Flag

blanket like this again.... I purchased this piece directly from The Medicine Man\'s private

collection... he is a retired doctor and one of America\'s leading Native American art\'s collector...

Part of the extreme rarity of this piece is the evidence of a novice weaver... if you look

closely you will see they didn\'t quite calculate the stripes and star field correctly, they

ended up with 2 additional stripes which left too my blue field which they filled with a

row of \"Peace Doves\"... the effect is truly unique.........

THIS sale IS FOR THE Flag and MOUNTING BOARD ONLY...

Due to the framed size neither Fed-Ex or UPS will ship the item framed

thus I have revised the original listing to be for the Flag and Acid-Free

Mat-Board it is mounted on.
