Up for sale is an AMAZING vintage sterling silver natural butterscotch egg yolk amber collar necklace. Let me start by saying that the pictures do not do this piece justice. This necklace is extremely impressive and was made to be worn as a choker collar. The amber beads range in size from 50mm x 23mm to 25mm x 11mm. The necklace measures approx 14 1/4\" long (17 1/2\" long including the silver chain extender) x 2\" wide. It is marked \"STERLING\" near the catch and weighs an impressive 81.3 grams. The condition is very fine with some minor chipping and other light signs of wear consistent with age. An extremely impressive piece of amber jewelry!
