Here is a gilt silver and enamel Victorian jewel..... as you can see the top bar is stained.. the rest of the jewel at the front is good.. it has some scratch marks on the back ...sterling hallmarks for London 1862 and makers initials WP.
This lodge was founded in 1762 and named in 1767 ....it was at first lodge No. 290 and changed to No. 196 and then to this number as you see it on this jewel Lodge No. 141 in 1832 and finally changed again in 1863 to No. 120.
Its a rarity for sure.
The jewel is just over 3 and quarter inch long.
