A classic plug key resistance or post office box by Philip Harris & Company Ltd of Birmingham. The resistance box dates from the 1930\'s and is in good working condition. The resistance box has a black lacquered ebonite insulated top with lacquered brass rail and removable polished ebonite and brass plug keys.The instrument comes in its fitted mahogany case with brass closing clasps. Connections are via two lacquered brass knurled screw terminals attached to two push switch ebonite keys.
