GORGET: : It is nice authentic artifact from the Tennessee River Valley area of North West Alabama. It has never been cleaned and it still has the tannic staining from the decayed leaves on the bottom of a stream. I believe it is slate material. It measures 5 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. It is a THIN well formed piece that is UNDRILLED. Flat in the back side and slighted rounded on the front side. A nice authentic piece from Lauderdale County Alabama. A DANDY !!!!!!!
