Also: ADDITIONAL PHOTO\'s TO COME - Please remind me!!!The coveted ROYAL DOULTON D3538 Old Leeds Spray pattern is outstanding; they\'re hand made and painted. They were created in 1912, then discontinued in 1956 - These are the early pieces in the series run and show handsomely for it. The romantic ivory background, awash in the polychrome floral transfer, coupled with wonderful hand painted flowers and green trim around octagonal rims and bases, is just wondrous! This rare and ENORMOUS set are each in equally excellent antique condition, free of chips, cracks, repairs, misshape, or issue. Typical, charming and BETTER-than-average crazing adorns them, making them all the more treasured and authentically antique (Clearly as shown, the tureen has the most pronounced crazing). The dinner set is comprised of a miraculous full service for 8, comprising:
8 - CUPS 3.5\" top octagonal diameter, 4-3/8\" rim to handle and about 2.25\" tall
8 - SAUCERS measuring about 5-5/8\" diameter (1 saucer has 2mm UNDERSIDE flake)
8 - BREAD BUTTER Plates 5-3/8\" diameter
8 - SALAD PLATES 6-5/8\" diameter
8 - LUNCHEON PLATES 8.5\" diameter
8 - Dinner Plates 9.75\" diameter
8 - BERRY BOWLS / DESSERY BOWLS 5.5\" diameter x 1.5\" tall
