This is in Show Cabinet condition. (this is where this plate has lived for the plate 50 odd years. )

It is part of the Series Ware collection andof course it is English, made by Royal Doulton.According to Ms Irvine, (Louise Irvine\'s RoyalDoulton Series Ware reference books)the pattern was produced from 1931 and withdrawn by 1950. The plate is thereforeabout approx. 80 + years old.

This plate has no chips, cracks or faults, There is the usual surface glaze crazing indicative of age, the Green Rim around edge of plate is strong and no colour missing. The colours of the plate are very vibrant. The back of the plate shows the base cream ware, strong back stamp and design pattern number is very clear.

This would make a lovely addition to acollection of this pattern. This will be well packaged and sent by registered mail.
