~ RRS! A SuperbRough Lot of very rare Variquoise from the Snowville, Utah Mine! These are hand picked form material that was roughprepared as you see it inthe 1960\'s! They are all natural! Hardness of 6 which is much harder than Turquoise. Excellent colors and patterns! The way these were prepared leaves almost 100% usable material with almost no unusable host rock... a lot of work in preparation! This material will cutexceptionallyhigh grade stones for fine jewelry!
~ A brief history about this mine and material: Hand mined by Mr. Cobia from about the 1920\'s to the 1960\'s. Acquiredby us in the late 1980\'s. It has a hardness of 6. It has Variscite, Turquoise and other related minerals that are associated minerals. Not to be confused by Variscite sold as Variquoise from Nevada. Weacquiredand carry the largest quantity of this material known. Cuts well and will take a superb polish!Ifyouhave not cut Snowville material before, try it, it is amazing to work and looks like a million bucks when finished!
