This is a wonderful full-page color plate by Edwin Deming, a famous wildlife artist from a rare, expensive book that was published over 90 years ago. It has a wonderful primative or folk style to it. It has exquisite pastel tones.

It depicts a racoon sighing at the water\'s edge in a moonlit forest. It is a stunning print!

PLEASE NOTE there are fox marks on the print (see scan). The print has a blank back, meaning it was printed separately from the text for better quality and then tipped in or sewn into the book when it was bound. It would look wonderful framed.

Note that the page size is approx.10.25 x 7.75 inches and the actual image size (without margins) is approx. 8.75 x 6 inches (approx.22.25 x 15.25 cm).
