18th or 17th Century Small Bronze Corpus of Jesus Christ! Original hollow cast bronze. I have seen many solid cast bronze copies of this piece, but here is the original! which one can tell by its finer details as well as it being finely hollow cast! Approximately 11.8 cm (4 5/8 inches) from head to toes, and approximately 11.1 cm (4 3/8 inches) from hand to hand. The holes in the hands are approximately 9.9 cm (3 14/16 inches) apart. The bronze corpus and its patina is in excellent condition except for a small ripple scratch above the right foot as seen in the provided images. As the photos illustrate, only one of the three original nails remain (in the feet). Truly a fine art piece for a very fair deal.
