Turned Head German Made JDK Kestner Closed Mouth
Shoulder Head Doll on a Kid Leather Body.
I Believe she is Letter Mold E
but there are no marks visible.
She wears a blonde curl wig.
I am not sure it is original but it is vintage.
She has German glass blown stationary brown eyes.
I also believe her clothing is also original or at least the same age.
She is dressed in a delicate antique cotton dress.
I think she is wearing a funeral dress.
She wears antique undergarment slips & pantaloons.
She also has on antique black socks and antique black shoes.
She also wears an antique black bonnet.

She is a bisque shoulder head and arms on a leather kid body

Brown Stationary Antique German Glass Blown Eyes
with long feathered brows

She has such a sweet face and lovely coloring
with the Rare closed mouth
HAIR:
She wears a blonde wig
HEIGHT:
20 in / 51cm in height
DOLL CONDITION:
This beautiful, rare doll is a wonderful example of the
high quality workmanship of JD Kestner.
Kestner dolls are gorgeous and this doll is no exception.
She is in nice condition considering her age.
She is over 100 years.
Her bisque Head is very nice.
She has no chips or no repairs to her bisque head.
However, she does one chip on her right middle finger.
Her kid leather body looks to be in very nice shape.
There are no sawdust leaks.
I did not remove her dress to shoot her
body for fear of tearing her dress.
I am not sure if her hair or clothing it is original to her.
Close Mouth Antique Dolls of this Quality are Considered To Be Very Rare.
It is more Common to Find Antique Dolls with Open Mouths and Teeth.
Making this Lovely Doll Very Sought After.
