This is a very rare, very earlyMorse 4 light commercial diving helmet.Notice that the front port is larger than normal (71/4 inch wide) which gives this helmet a really, really nice look - apparently this would have been a special order helmet

From oldMorse records now owned by Desco, I was toldthatthis helmet is from 1906 based on the serial numbers of the bonnet and breastplate whichare 1367. All 4 brails are one year older with serial numbers 1232.

Condition is extraordinary and probably hard to find another hat from this era in better condition. Notice from the photos that there has been one small professional repair on the back left (1.5 inches in diameter)
