Child\'s size?WELCOME TO ANOTHER CRIBTOY\'S CLOSET sale Wonderfully unusual Celluloid egg shaped box which holds a sterling silver thimble. The inside of the box is lined in cream satin and is marked Johann Wagner and John Berlin W. The outside of the egg is that beautiful lined French Ivory celluloid and has a gold design etched around the center of the egg where it opens. It is in excellent condition. The egg is approximately 2 1/4 in. x 1 1/2 in. The size of a real egg . The thimble is marked Sterling 7. When held up to the light you cannot see any holes. It has a lovely simple beaded design around the bottom rim. It has 2 very minute indentations, one on the top and one on the side. Neither detracts from the uniqueness of this item though. A very unusual vintage find!
